A classic pearl necklace. These freshwater pearls have been hand knotted on 100% silk thread and finished with a traditional pearl clasp in 14k white gold. Why are the pearls knotted? The knots act as a hinge and allow the pearls to conform to the contours of ones body. In addition, the knots protect the pearls from rubbing on each other and causing damage and wear.
